Happy Suki Sumo Day! Err... Independence Day!

Wow, so many new bloggy friends! I think I'll have to let the wiggle monster tell everyone all about her big day today.Today started out great. Mommy and daddy were worried about me because on Tuesday I refused to eat anything, but today I showed them that I'm a good little puppy with a normal pug appetite. I snarfed up my puppy food, then they gave me lots of cuddles and playtime on the rug. Don't you love my little goatee? By the way, that brown shiny stuff behind me is the evil hardwood floor. Pugs beware!
Mommy and daddy decided to take me to Father Hennepin Park in their very most favorite part of Minneapolis to see the 4th of July fireworks. Although you can't see it here, the Mississippi River is just past those trees. That pretty lady holding me is my aunti Jen, mommy's BFF. My mommy's name is Jen too, which is why I look a little confused in this picture.
This is my mommy, Jen and me before the mischief began...This is aunti Jen trying to distract me from my mommy's irresistible TOES! I like to bite them to teach her a lesson about keeping a pug puppy on a leash. I hate the leash perhaps more than hardwood floors - at least those are avoidable.
I met so many new people friends and doggy friends at the park. I got so excited that I ended up falling asleep before the fireworks began and slept right through them. Here's a picture of mommy and daddy enjoying some "peace and quiet." Mommy says this should teach daddy a lesson about making silly faces and ruining perfectly cute pictures of the two of them. Maybe she should stick to toe biting.
After the fireworks, we ran into some of mommy and daddy's friends - a bike gang! Hooligans!
But all's well that ends well. I love my buddy Jerridd!
And look how much Jen loves me!! What a lucky pug. Happy 4th of July, everypup!
