All in a Day's Work

Howdy, partners. Suki Sumo here, checking in to tell you about a couple of tumultuous days. They've had their moments of grandeur, but let me tell you that my time has been filled mostly with covered toes, big mean Trigger, and barking for my right to a more adequate treat allowance. Grrr-ruff!

Last night mommy decided I had too much pent up energy and it was only fair that she take me to grandma and grandpa's house in the country to run and play with the big boys off-leash. At first it was going beautifully. Grandpa gave me some delicious bbq meat (mommy always says no), grandma lent me her shoe to chew (mommy always says no). It was during the time spent with my grandparents that I realized mommy and daddy do not give me nearly enough people food and shoes to chew.

This is grandpa and me playing in the grass. He must not be as photogenic as me, cause he never wants his picture taken.
I spent some time sniffing around my favorite hosta with Jakey and Trigs. Where is Suki Su?
I chased Trigger around and he's so fast that he accidentally ran me over and stomped me in the eye. Owww! Needless to say, mommy and grandma spent a lot of time consoling me and taking care of my sore eye. That was pretty much the end of my yard fun. Mommy says I am absolutely fine, by the way.

Here I am in my safe place between mommy's feet.
During and after our car ride home last night I slept so well because of all the excitement (for which mommy and daddy are thankful). In order to voice my displeasure at not having enough people food and shoes to chew, I have decided I will bark incessantly at mommy while she eats from now on. Thanks for the idea, grandma and grandpa!

Today mommy took me into work - again! And I met someone so special that we now share a bond no one can break. This is me and Erin, my new bff (sorry Jake). Here are a couple pictures of Erin and me around the office.
Erin teaching me how to send a fax. She is the best!
After Erin left I had a little boo boo at the office and mommy had to console me once again with treats and hugs. It's a hard life for a wiggly little pug! Mommy's work crew decided that I will now be their official mascot. Before I accept that title I better find out what the job entails. I hope treats are involved.

Hey Suki, aren't Grandma and Grandpa's the best? We think so too. Who else would give us BBQ meat? not Mom & Dad, that's for sure.

We love all those pics, you just keep getting cuter and cuter!
