Heya hepdogs, guess what we got in the mail this week!My favorite book ever! Because it gives mommy lots of ideas for things to buy me and stuff to do with me. It's a good thing daddy got mom a prescription for the BARK books for her birthday this month.
My puggy puppy buddy, Canadian Clover tagged me for this really fun game. Here are the rules: Use the 1st letter of your name to answer each of the questions. They must be real places, names, things ... nothing made up! If you can't think of anything, skip it.
1. Famous Singer: Sinead O'Connor. It's true! She's intense, bald, and Irish and I like those things.
2. Four letter word: Sh... just KIDDING! Sock. Because I love to chew on socks!
3. Street: Summit Ave, because that's the best place for a walk.
4. Color: Scarlet. It's my signature color.
5. Gifts/Presents: Scrumptious foodables.
6. Vehicle: Suzuki SX4, my mommy's car!
7. Things in a Souvenir Shop: Stamps because you can lick 'em.
8. Boy Name: STANLEY!
9. Girl Name: Suki Sumo!
10. Movie Title: Scooby Doo
11. Drink: Some very cold water.
12. Occupation: Scientist (not to be confused with scientologist)
13. Celebrity: Scarlet Johansson
14. Magazine: Shape Magazine. Because I guess mom likes it sometimes.
15. US City: Saint Paul! Woof!
16. Pro Sports: Soccer, cause they run like the wiiind in soccer.
17. Fruit: Ssssoooo many. Strawberries and melons too.
18. Reason for Being Late for Work: Scatterbrained (I have lots of energy in the morning!)
19. Something You Throw Away: Stuff that doesn't taste good.
20. Things You Shout: SOMEBODY PLAY WITH ME! Below is a picture of me yelling just that.
Mom and dad better get a good look at this furry mug, because they're taking me up to see Trigger and Jakey (meanie) and grammie and gramps this weekend while they go to South Dakota. Sayonara, suckers! Grams' house is way better than Sioux Falls!

Help in the Kitchen
So mommy is a little bit crabby (unlike the beautiful FIG). Here is the story. She finally decided to actually COOK something for dinner for once and she was giving me TREATS because I was (not!) on my best behavior.
Carrotables! Tadpole's favorite foodable. In the next picture I am saying "get out of my face with that camera, mom, I'm trying to eat vegetables!"
Mommy used the rest of the carrotables and some pickleables and some other stuff and made some noodles (I'm drooling just thinking of the tasty foods that are not-for-pugs!). Then she whipped out my very most favorite treat of all: TUNA. I gave her my best puggy face and she gave me the juice.
Oh my dog, the sweet smell of TUNA!
Why, oh why do I see KIBBLE in my TUNA?
So anyhow, the reason she is crabby is because after all her hard work making the tuna salad with vegetables and noodles and without the juice is because after she put it all together she realized that she had a bad greedy-ant and the whole salad was RUINED.
But don't worry, I am making her feel all better while she waits for daddy to bring home some take-outables.

Super Size Me
Here is a picture of me not so long ago that I have posted a couple of times already. I am using it to show you how much I have GROWN in the last month or so.
Now: SUPER SIZED PUG PUPPY!
Don't I look so grown up these days? I have no idea how much I weigh right now but mommy guesses I'm tipping the scales at nine or 10 pounds. And I'm not even four months old yet! Daddy seems to be a little sad about how fast his teeny tiny puppy is growing up.
Mommy suspects this growth spurt is due to the following:
1. The peanut butter kong
2. CHEESE (which I hardly ever get to eat, meanie mommy)
3. Yogurt in the morning
4. Homemade frosty paws
5. Fruitables
These are my favorite FOODABLES! I was tagged by Ruby to tell everydoggy about them. I noticed that Ruby's mom told about hers too. I'm an observant pug (especially when it comes to the eatables) and noticed that my mommy has some favorites too. She really loves chicken tacos, walleye fishies, dark chocolate, cheesecake, and Indian food.
Oh man, I'm getting hungry thinking off all of these delicious treats. I'm off to go beg for mommy's dinner now!

Bad Humans.
Instead of euthanizing the dogs in cases of dog fighting, neglect, and abuse, can't we just get rid of bad humans like Michael Vick and DMX once and for all? Their complete disregard for life is frightening and I, for one, can see no reason for society to keep them around!

Law & Order: SKU
We joined a kickball league! That means mommy and daddy get to go to the softball fields, drink the beer, and kick the balls with me in tow on Wednesday nights. I have dubbed myself the official Law & Order: Special Kickball Unit Mascot.
This is a particularly special moment in my life caught on film because you can see my new stuffy creeping in on the left, Eli-Phant. Eli is my favorite because aunti Jen gave him to me. I haven't even ripped his eyeballs out or performed an opawation on him or anything yet. I just carry him around and chew on his little tuft of hair and his trunk.
Jen, Jerridd, and I have all sorts of fun together. Look at our goofy mugs!
Notice that there aren't any pictures of the actual game, the balls, any other teammates? Nothing! This, however, is a prime example of the kind of debauchery I am subjected to at these alleged kickball games (dog, I love the beer).
There aren't any pictures of my mommy and me because she's the one always taking pictures. But here's one of my dad and me with matching smiles.

Flavorites!
I'm finally getting around to that tag from my buddy GOOBERSTAN!
1. Where is your favorite place to sleep?
I don't discriminate. I am a pug-a-lug, after all! But I think the comfiest place to rest my little head is on a frozen water bottle.
And in my donut bed!
And in my donut bed with a frozen water bottle.
2. Is there a specific trick your humans make you do to get treats?
Yes, it's called SIT SIT SIT SUKI SIT!
3. If you could spend an entire day doing anything at all, with anyone, what would you do and with whom?
First uncle Jakey and I would help grandma with the gardening.
After that, Trigger and I would have some rowdy playtime!
Then some cuddles during naptime.
I know I would get some happy time in with my aunti Kim,
aunti Jen (old picture!),
and aunti Maui!
Heehee! I'd also have loads and loads of frosty paws and other delicious treats. Then I would get to snuggle up with mommy and daddy at bedtime. The end!
4. What is your favorite toy?
My favorite toy is definitely my loofa frienemy. This is a picture of me looking worried when Trigger got his paws and gigantic jaws on my lovely loofa.
But I have a new toy that is quickly stealing my affections. My SQUEAKY MONKEY (with a skin condition)!
5. If you could change anything in your life, what would it be?
This is a difficult question. I think I have a pretty good life. I would like to have more grass to, as Stanley puts it, run like the wiiiind. We live on a really busy street so mommy and daddy keep me on a leash. They don't want me running into the street and getting hurt! But I do love to run like the wind, so I guess that is the one thing I would change.
That, and uh, I wish for world peace!

I Love You, Daddy!
I turned THREE MONTHS old yesterday! I decided to take it easy on my day and spend some quality time with the peanut butter kong.
But then daddy got in a car accident and he and mommy had to put me in my jail for the night while they went to the doctor. I guess he forgot to eat his blueberries with the anti-accidents in them. He is alright, but we worried about him!

A Change of Heart and my Eatables
Wally, Suki, Duke & Gidget , and some of my other pup pals write sometimes about their eatables. I have to say that you dogs all eat very well. I posted recently that I do not care for my kong. Additionally, I have never really liked peanut butter. Today I flip-flopped faster than Governor Pawlenty on taxes after the bridge collapse and am going nuts over my peanut butter kong.
Give me that kong, WOMAN!See? There's peanut butter in my kong. Yummy!
Mommy doesn't feel well so she took the day off. She blames it on her birthday party and her sister (aunti Maui!) who is full of cold germs. I have been busy entertaining and keeping her company. She always says that if she was ever a stay-at-home (pug) mom, she would need to make friends with other stay-at-home (pug) moms because she gets really bored and checks her work pee-mail constantly. I suggested that mommy turn off Martha Stewart (it makes her feel guilty and hungry anyhow) and get off the couch (that I never get to pee on) and and start making me some of those frosty paws I'm always drooling over on other dog blogs.
It's true that mommy has never been much of a cook, so I was skeptical of her frosty paw making abilities. But daddy just went grocery shopping and bought some yogurt and mom can get creative in the kitchen when she puts her mind to it. Plus she's been watching Martha get all crafty so that takes care of inspiration. No more excuses, lady! Make me some frosty paws!
Instead of going by the recipes she has found online, mommy decided to channel her inner Martha and come up with her own (simple) ingredients.
Then mommy decided it might be a good idea to make sure I like blueberries. She likes them because they are rich in anti-accidents (oxidants) so I tested one out.
And liked it so much that took off with it leaving only a purple skidmark on the floor.
Delicious before!
Delicious after!
Sloppy Sally got a little overzealous with her frosty paw pouring, but overall I do like her choice of mold. The arrow says, "kindly move AWAY from my frosty paw!"
I was such a patient pug that I got to sample the goods before they went into the freezer.
And now I'm sitting pretty and being a good girl while I wait for the treats to get done.
I'm not sure if this is a tag game, but I'm gonna do it anyway. I want to see what kinds of treats my pup pals Ricky Pepper, Jemima Jones, Tadpole, and Seadra and Zoe enjoy!

Bath Time
I'm not sure I have mentioned this before, but I LOVE bath time! I love it so much that when mommy takes a shower I usually try to jump in the tub and beg until she lets me come in and hang out with her. Yesterday mommy gave me a bath and then turned on the shower, and it was awesome.
I also like the playtime I get with the towel after bath time!
And making the pee-pee on mommy's freshly washed bath mat! Heehee!
After the pee-pee incident yesterday, I pooped on mom's leopard print rug in the hallway which was totally cool because it was camouflaged. Mommy stepped on it not once, but twice. Hilarious! I wish she had taken pictures of that. Instead, she took pictures of me being naughty. What can I say? I can't resist a game of tug-of-war.
