An Award, Water Puggy and Help!

Petra gave me this Kind Blogger Award. Thanks, Petra!! I think it means I'm KIND of cute and KIND of hungry and KIND of a pain in my mom's butt because I'm whining at her right now! I will give this award to Clover because she is the real kind of kind.

Mom took the day off so this morning we went for a nice long walk. It was hot. We always bring water but summertime walkies have to be shorter than the ones in the fall and spring. After hot walkies we come home and mom always fills the tub with nice cool water.
This cools me right down and I love splashing in the water and kerplunking all over the tub. Usually I pretend like I am digging a really big hole in the tub. Mom keeps her camera far away from that. I also play with the blue popsicle that Clover sent me.

After the tub I am a totally rejuvenated puggy. I get the ZOOMIES and find some socks to play with. Today mom wasn't fast enough to catch any pictures of it.
But do you see that brown sock? I love socks!

Also, mom has been taking to somebody who needs to re-home their puggy boys. I am so excitered to have a new puggy brother but dad needs some convincing. Grandma and grandpa have already offered to take one of these dudes. Does anyone have any encouraging words for my dad? How could he say no to faces like these?

Pee.S. Mom's event went well and she thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

It's mom's birthday today. She's about 187,000 years old. This is how I feel about it:
(Pee.S. I am posting this on August 5 but back-dating it to August 4 because Blogger would not let me upload photos. Grr.)

She's pretty busy and stressed because she's responsible for something really big at work tomorrow. Here are a couple photos of me to cheer mom up today:

My Song

My buddy Jon wrote me a song. It's about my dislike of the big bad guitar and all of its scary noises. Has anyone ever written you a song? If so, blog about it! I would love to hear them or read the lyrics.

Weee! My first video! Thanks for your help, auntie Sara.

Rats!

Last month I posted about Thelma and Penny, the dumbo rats. We finally got to meet in pawson! You can go here to read all about it. I don't want to steal the girls' thunder!

TAG and Updates

Sophie and Dixie tagged me for the cold box meme and mom finally got a new camera cord so here it goes!

Rules:
Show us a photo of the front of your Cold Box
Tell us about at least one thing on it and
One thing you keep inside of it.
Tag your friends and remember to stay COOL!
And no fair cleaning it up first!!!

Since it was against the rules I wouldn't let mommy clean up the refrigerator. Here is the outside:
So much stuff. I'm a little embarrassed that our fridge doesn't look as clean as all of yours do.

This is the top of the fridge where mom and dad keep the TREATS (and a really old bottle of KahlĂșa). I still have a few treats left from the package Clover sent me because I like to savor their flavor. Mmm.
On the side of the fridge is a picture of me almost a year ago. OMD, I was so so cute!
Mom totally forgot to take a picture of the inside of the fridge but I can assure you the only thing interesting in there is daddy's milk (since I still enjoy a little milk on occasion to remind me of my puppyhood up on the dairy farm). I'm not a fan of mommy's soy milk.

Since this is my blog and I have mom's attention I will also show you some pictures from the last few days. This is me lounging right outside the kitchen looking for snacks.
And some shots of me during BATH TIME! Unlike many of you puggies I actually enjoy the water very much!
And finally, proof for Wally and his ma ape that all three of us in this family are mos def' soy latte drinkin' liberals - to the max.
Anything else would just be booty.

Paws on Grand Break

I am interrupting my time at Paws on Grand today to let everydoggy know that I am bark-raving mad at mommy. I've been growling at her for days on end now to help me with my blog and she keeps promising that she will but then she LOST her camera cord AGAIN!

This is how mad I am - and will continue to be - until she helps me with the bloggy again (thanks to Auntie Kim for this picture, NOT mommy!):
Curl-o-meter low, mom.

Captain Sumo

Last weekend I got my sea legs. Mom was nervous that I wouldn't enjoy the boat ride but it turns out I'm a natural.
Just call me Captain Sumo. Land, ho!

My favorite things about being a seapug are the cool wind in my puggy ears,
And the warm sun on my face.
I'm queen of the woooorld!
