An Award, Water Puggy and Help!

Petra gave me this Kind Blogger Award. Thanks, Petra!! I think it means I'm KIND of cute and KIND of hungry and KIND of a pain in my mom's butt because I'm whining at her right now! I will give this award to Clover because she is the real kind of kind.

Mom took the day off so this morning we went for a nice long walk. It was hot. We always bring water but summertime walkies have to be shorter than the ones in the fall and spring. After hot walkies we come home and mom always fills the tub with nice cool water.
This cools me right down and I love splashing in the water and kerplunking all over the tub. Usually I pretend like I am digging a really big hole in the tub. Mom keeps her camera far away from that. I also play with the blue popsicle that Clover sent me.

After the tub I am a totally rejuvenated puggy. I get the ZOOMIES and find some socks to play with. Today mom wasn't fast enough to catch any pictures of it.
But do you see that brown sock? I love socks!

Also, mom has been taking to somebody who needs to re-home their puggy boys. I am so excitered to have a new puggy brother but dad needs some convincing. Grandma and grandpa have already offered to take one of these dudes. Does anyone have any encouraging words for my dad? How could he say no to faces like these?

Pee.S. Mom's event went well and she thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!

I love having the zoomies right after a bath! That's a good idea getting in the tub to cool off...Mom usually just rubs ice cubes on me.

That sounds like tons o' fun! Except for the water part... Maybe if I had a blue popsicle I would like the water as well.

One more vote for a new brother!

OMD.... having another puggie around is great! Two is a good # since you still can do man-to-man defense, but if one human is left alone with two pugs, you still have two arms!!!! Pefect amount for controlling two pugs. Plus we play with each other and wear each other out!

Hi Suki!!
Thanks so much for the award! I was very touched to see that you wanted to pass it on to me. :)
I am so glad you have fun playing with your blue popsicle in the tub. I definitely do the same thing after being in the tub - I get the zoomies, attack the towel and find things to play with - socks are my favourite non-toy toy!
Love Clover xo
P.S. OMD your dad needs to get convinced immediately! You SO need a brother. I think I have my parents convinced to get me a sister in the fall.

Congrats on your award, that is a very nice award. As for your dad, tell him two pugs is easier than one because then we have someone to play with, sleep with, eat with, and keep us company during the day.
Mom says she would never have just one pug, two is so much better.
Hope this helps.

Hi Suki, Charlie wanted me to tell you that she was so happy when her brother Ollie arrived. She said to remind your dad that another puggy means he doesn't have to play bitey face as often. She loves her brother and two people with laps + two pugs = a cozy family!

Ohmydog they're so cute. You totally need a brudder. Everyone knows a good brudder (like me) helps to keep his sibs out of trouble so I'm sure he'll help you stay out of trouble (wink wink!)

Awww...the new "boys" are adorable!

And as far as convincing your husband goes...having more pugs (as apposed to just one)...it's not that much more work. However they do tend to rile each other up. BUT, on the good hand...they will keep each other company and then they can sleep in the kitchen and leaving them alone during the day isn't as big of a deal.

Yes two pugs are better then one.. it means more pug on pug play time They always have a snuggle buddy. It means more kisses and cuddles for you! More fun!!
And honestly.. having 2 is pretty much the same as having one (work wise).

It took Indy a few weeks to fully accept Gus as part of the family but he fit right in.

I'm so jealous that you have some foster puggies. I feel so bad for them that their people have to find new homes for them. I hope you are extra nice to them so they know how much they are loved.
